A lakehouse renovation
The Lake Ellen residence is under construction, yay! Today I’m sharing some progress photos and a few of the moldboards that were created for this lovely project!
So this is where we are at the moment: The kitchen cabinets have been installed and the hardware and plumbing is currently going in, finally! With all parts of the field being affected by COVID, we’ve experienced massive delays with almost every vendor, so it’s all the more sweet to see everything now come together and getting to the detail phase of the project!
While we eagerly await the final (but oh so critical) layers of lighting and trim to be installed, we’re working through to finalize the furniture, drapery and decor for all the spaces of the home: living room, dining, master bedroom, office…well, every space really! As always, we use finish sample boards to walk our client through all the different materials, colors and textures in each space. By using all these visual tools - mood boards, finish boards, 3d renderings and drawings, our client will get an overall understanding of how it all ties in together and be able to “see” the spaces come alive before they actually do in reality.
